The nature of ceramics is to an insulator for 
many applications. Our materials will withstand 
temps from -400 deg C to a blistering 1650 
deg C. Some materials act as a heat sink others as insulators transmitting at a rate less than .06 cal/cm2/cm/sec/C.

• Furnaces/ovens
• Vapor depositions
• Analytical

Common materials for these applications:

• Alumina: Aluminum Oxide 85-99.99% Pure.
• Zeramic: Although a lower temp material (2400 deg F) it is a zero expansion 
• material and acts as an excellent insulator.
• Steaite: an inexpensive material for temp insulation
